It is as compelling a mystery as The Da Vinci Code: a legendary manuscript that no one can read, in a language considered to be “alien” and which does not seem to exist on earth. Today it seems that the veil is rising with a researcher who said that the mysterious document was actually written in ancient Hebrew and that he can now decipher him and his enigma.
TheVoynichmanuscript is consideredbyresearcherstobethemostinterestingcoded document everfound, and for yearsmanythoughtthatthetextcontained a prophecy or thekeytoeternallife or thatthelanguagebelongedtoextraterrestrials. But usingartificial intelligence, ProfessorGregKondrakoftheUniversityofAlberta, was able (hesaid) tofindthewrittenlanguagethroughthecreationof a seriesofalgorithms, withwhichtheycouldanalyzeandidentifythelanguageused.
TheVoynichmanuscript, no biggerthan a paperbackandisstored in a YaleUniversitysafe.Hehasbeenbafflinglinguistsandmathematicians for manyyearswithhisseeminglyunreadable code spreadover 240 pages.
But today the code of the book would have been found. This one, written in ancient Hebrew, consisted of mixing the order of the letters in each word and in addition removing the vowels. Yet despite the breakthrough, the book is not yet fully translated, but for how long?
AccordingtoresearchbyGregKondrak’steam, thefirst full sentence ofthebookreads as follows;
“She made recommendations to the priest, to the man of the house, to me and to the people.”
Recallthattheprecious document containing an elegantwriting, strangedrawingsofunidentified plants andnakedwomenwould have beenwritten six centuries ago, and no onehaddeciphereditsincethen.
