The SecureTeam10 site, which investigates alleged UFO sightings, made the statements in a video posted on Youtube, using Google Maps satellite mapping to observe an alleged spacecraft, near the 3000-metre-high Mount Paget.

<In looking at the image, the close traces suggest that the 63-metre-long cigar-shaped object slipped through the snow before arriving at its final resting place on the island of South Georgia (British Island), currently “frozen” and not far from Antarctica. We can also notice an impact. Since the video was posted on the Youtube channel of Secure Team 10, the video has been viewed thousands of times, but has also generated a host of comments.

In these, some explain that they agree that it could well be an alien ship crashed or “parked” there.

But not everyone is of the same agreement, especially with the user James Carter who declares;

The object on the island of Georgia is certainly not something we can explain just by looking at satellite imagery.”

Another Youtube user, Tom Brown, suggested:

“This could be a rocket or a remnant of a rocket. It could also be a missile that was fired for test purposes.”

Others suggested that it was a piece of rock that could have been pushed from a nearby glacier, while many did not take the claims seriously. However, it is unlikely that the truth lies in the comments…

Secure Team 10 describes itself as “a research centre and source of data on aliens and UFOs”. Its Facebook page is followed and appreciated by thousands of people. He describes his mission as “Exposing extraterrestrial evidence, one leak at a time”.
